"twitter:title": "Eugene Milito: candidate for Ottawa Catholic School Board in Zone 6, Ottawa 2026" --- ** Ottawa Catholic School Board in Zone 6 · Ottawa 2026 # Eugene Milito Sitting Ottawa Catholic School Board trustee for Zone 6 (College and Knoxdale-Merivale) seeking another term against Glen Armstrong, who held the position before 2022, and Peter Chabursky; he won the 2022 race with 35.7 percent; no statement from him for 2026 was found. Eugene Milito is on the City of Ottawa’s open data list of nominated candidates for Ottawa Catholic School Board trustee in Zone 6, which covers City Wards 8 and 9, with a nomination dated August 21, 2026. The other nominees in the zone are Glen Armstrong and Peter Chabursky. The board’s motions registry names him as mover or seconder of motions at board meetings from September 9, 2025 to May 26, 2026. voche.me found no website, social media account or statement from him for the 2026 race, so his priorities are not known. The file lists three nominations in the zone: Glen Armstrong on May 7, Peter Chabursky on August 17 and Milito on August 21. CTV News Ottawa’s guide of September 9, 2026 lists all three and marks none as acclaimed. The City’s page for this board could not be read, so voche.me relies on the open data file. The board’s trustee page lists him as Board Trustee for Zone 6, which covers Ward 8 College and Ward 9 Knoxdale-Merivale, and names St. Paul High School among the schools of the zone. The board’s release of October 26, 2022 lists him as the elected Zone 6 trustee and thanks Glen Armstrong as the outgoing Zone 6 trustee. The City’s official results for the October 24, 2022 election give Milito 1,932 of the 5,411 votes cast in the Zone 6 race, which is 35.7 percent. Melissa Fraser-Arnott had 1,681 votes, Glen Armstrong 1,458 and Patrick Suwalski 340. The board’s Board Motions Registry for 2025 to 2026 names Trustee Milito as the mover or seconder of motions at board meetings from September 9, 2025 to May 26, 2026. One example is resolution 05-26 of January 13, 2026, which he moved, to approve the recommendations in a staff memorandum on acquiring surplus property at Century Public School from the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. The registry lists no vote counts and no names of trustees who voted for or against, so voche.me cannot say how he voted on any motion. voche.me found no campaign website, social media account or 2026 statement from him. The sources read hold no complaint or allegation about him. Read the sources 02 / The issues ## Priorities & positions Campaign-source summary Summarized from the campaign’s published profile. These are stated positions, not an assessment of results or a complete platform. No platform positions have been supplied. Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on October 7, 2026: the City’s open data file of nominations and its 2022 official results for the Zone 6 race, an Internet Archive copy of the City’s list of nominated candidates for this board (last updated June 29, 2026, before his nomination, so it does not list him), the board’s trustee page and its release of October 26, 2022, the board’s Board Motions Registry for 2025 to 2026, and the CTV News Ottawa guide of September 9, 2026. Gaps. The City’s page for the Ottawa Catholic School Board could not be read: ottawa.ca returns an empty page to automated requests, and the Internet Archive holds no copy of the certified list. The only archived copy is the City’s list of nominated candidates last updated June 29, 2026. No campaign website, social media account or statement from him was found, so his priorities are unknown. An empty section records only that nothing was found, and he may well have statements that voche.me has not seen. The registry gives no individual votes, and the board posts agendas as shared documents and videos of meetings that voche.me did not watch. The voche.me questionnaire has not been sent. 03 / Background ## Experience & community 2022 to present ### Trustee, Ottawa Catholic School Board, Zone 6 The board’s release of October 26, 2022 lists him as the elected Zone 6 trustee, and its trustee page lists him as the Zone 6 trustee in 2026.
