COPE's [Sean Orr](/candidates/sean-orr) led all Vancouver city council candidates in early results Saturday night, with Greens and COPE holding multiple positions across council, the park board and the school board. The Tyee reported the results at around 1:10 am, with 59 of 149 polls counted for the council race.

ABC Vancouver, which swept every council seat in 2022, was projected by both The Tyee and CBC to hold only two council seats in early counting. Incumbent ABC councillor [Mike Klassen](/candidates/mike-klassen) and new ABC candidate [Joyce Gillespie](/candidates/joyce-gillespie) were in council seat positions. The rest of the ABC council slate appeared to fall short.

## Council

Orr led all candidates in the council race with more than 110,000 ballots counted, according to The Tyee, which reported his margin over the next candidate at just under 4,000 votes. Fellow COPE candidates [Chloe Leslie](/candidates/chloe-leslie), [Devyani Singh](/candidates/devyani-singh) and [Solomon Yi-Kieran](/candidates/solomon-yi-kieran) were also in council positions.

Green council candidates [Annette Reilly](/candidates/annette-reilly), [Camil Dumont](/candidates/camil-dumont) and [Stephanie Smith](/candidates/stephanie-smith) were also holding council seats in early results. Green candidate [Bridget Burns](/candidates/bridget-burns) had an early presence in counting but was not in a seat position at the time The Tyee published.

OneCity's [Lucy Maloney](/candidates/lucy-maloney), who holds the party's only existing council seat, was projected for re-election. OneCity council hopeful [Iona Bonamis](/candidates/iona-bonamis) was also in a seat position in early results, according to The Tyee.

## Park Board

Green incumbent [Tom Digby](/candidates/tom-digby) led all park board candidates with over 34,000 votes just after 10 pm, The Tyee reported. Newcomers [Spencer Van Vloten](/candidates/spencer-van-vloten) and [Breanne Smart](/candidates/breanne-smart) were in winning positions alongside COPE's four park board candidates.

## School Board

COPE was on track to sweep the top four school board spots in early results. Incumbent [Suzie Mah](/candidates/suzie-mah) led all school board candidates with a 2,000-vote lead over running mate [Melanie Cheng](/candidates/melanie-cheng), according to The Tyee.

OneCity projected three of nine school board trustee seats, with [Steve Cardwell](/candidates/steve-cardwell), [Rory Brown](/candidates/rory-brown) and [Krista Sigurdson](/candidates/krista-sigurdson) in leading positions.
