The Vancouver Asian Film Festival marks its 30th anniversary with in-person screenings at two downtown Vancouver cinemas through Saturday, November 8. A virtual program runs across Canada from November 9 to 14.

The festival presents films highlighting Asian and Asian-Canadian stories, including features, short films, animations and documentaries. Saturday's lineup has nine programs at the two venues.

## What is screening Saturday

November 8 programs at Cineplex Odeon International Village (3rd floor, 88 West Pender Street) and Scotiabank Theatre (4th floor, 900 Burrard Street) include West Coast Tales+ Shorts 2, Return to Bloom (International Spotlight), Animation Block 2, International and Canada Shorts, Documentary Spotlight West Coast Tales+, Stories That Connect, Jersey Boy (Indo-Canadian spotlight) and Debone (International Spotlight). The festival also lists a special event called RAGS 2 RICHMOND during this period.
