The years Brown served as president of the Vancouver Secondary Teachers Association were not established, and the association's own records were not opened. The claim of 15 years teaching in Vancouver high schools and the current teaching work at BCIT and UBC rest on the OneCity page alone. No interview with Brown from the 2026 campaign was found, and no report was found showing what the Vancouver School Board decided about the 2019 school meal report. Official City of Vancouver election result pages return an error to automated requests, so the 2022 vote totals were taken from the Wikipedia results table.
