## About Christian Kyle
Christian Kyle appears on the City of Vancouver's final 2026 candidate list for Park Board, with ballot number 218. The City records the affiliation as ABC Vancouver.
The page says Kyle holds a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia. The page says Kyle was Vice-President and then President of the UBC Engineering Society, President of the student union, and now sits as a Convocation Senator. The page says the candidate has held leadership roles in youth organizations, working on mental health, public safety, and affordability.
The ABC Vancouver candidate page says Kyle is a lifelong East Vancouver resident who holds a degree in geological engineering from the University of British Columbia.
The Ubyssey, UBC's independent student newspaper, reported on March 8, 2024 that Kyle won the presidency of the Alma Mater Society, the UBC student society, defeating three first-time candidates in an election with 21.1 per cent turnout.
The Ubyssey reported that before that election Kyle was president of the Engineering Undergraduate Society in the 2022 to 2023 academic year and worked in the Alma Mater Society president's office.
The ABC candidate page says Kyle now serves as a Convocation Senator at UBC, representing alumni, current students and emeriti faculty at the Vancouver campus.
The ABC candidate page says that as a teenager Kyle stepped on a needle at Andy Livingstone Park during soccer practice and needed follow-up blood tests for years, and that this is why Kyle campaigns on park safety and cleanliness.
