## About Bridget Burns
Bridget Burns appears on the City of Vancouver's final 2026 candidate list for City Council, with ballot number 141. The City records the affiliation as Green Party of Vancouver.
The party page says Burns has worked in hospitality as a server, bartender, host and event organizer in Vancouver restaurants, bars and venues. The page says Burns has organized festivals, markets and pop-up events, which led to contact with City Hall. The page describes Burns as a renter.
Daily Hive reported on March 24, 2026 that Burns was one of seven people approved to seek the Green Party of Vancouver's council nomination, and that Burns has campaign experience at the federal, provincial and municipal levels.
The same report says Burns worked on the Green Party's 2022 Vancouver civic election campaign and is national field manager for the Green Party of Canada.
The Green Party of Vancouver announced on May 11, 2026 that Burns was one of four nominated council candidates, alongside Annette Reilly, Camil Dumont and Stephanie Smith, running with mayoral candidate Pete Fry. The release describes Burns as a longtime political organiser with experience in campaigns and in small business communities.
