Surrey Police Service is asking the public for help identifying a white Toyota Corolla sedan after a driver approached two teenage girls in the 10100 block of 123A Street on October 27, 2026.

Surrey Police (SPS) issued the request on November 1. The incident took place at 3:30 pm on October 27. A vehicle pulled up next to the girls as they were walking in that block. SPS says the driver, who was alone in the vehicle and unknown to the girls, spoke to them. The girls told police they were concerned for their safety. They left the area and called police.

## What police have found, and what they still need

As of November 1, investigators had collected CCTV and other evidence from the scene. Surrey Police say the evidence had not been enough to identify the vehicle. Investigators are asking the public to help narrow down what they have.

Surrey Police describe the vehicle as a white 2023-2025 Toyota Corolla four-door sedan. No charges have been laid and police have not named anyone in connection with the incident.

The story was reported by the Surrey Now-Leader, Peace Arch News, the North Delta Reporter, CTV News, CHEK News, Fraser Valley Today and the Indo-Canadian Voice.

## What Surrey Police are asking residents to do

Surrey Police Service's non-emergency line is 604-599-0502. Anyone with information about the October 27 incident, the vehicle, or the driver is asked to call and quote file number 26-116403 (SP).

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is the municipal police force responsible for policing Surrey. The force replaced the RCMP in Surrey as part of a transition that has been a subject of debate for the city's elected council. The incoming council, including members who have spoken about the future of SPS, takes office at Surrey City Hall on the evening of November 2, 2026.
