Black Press Media reported that Doerkson, asked about the cost of the alcohol tax cut, said the budget would lose some revenue. The party has published no estimate of that cost. The platform page also lists “Common Sense Childcare”, described as a plan to expand affordable childcare spots and work with independent childcare providers. No text of that plan was published by September 30, 2026. 2 PUBLISHED COMMITMENTS ## What they say they will do - ### Remove the PST on Canadian beer, wine and spirits The party says a Conservative government would remove the provincial sales tax at the till on Canadian beer, wine and spirits for as long as the U.S. trade dispute lasts. Doerkson also said U.S. liquor would stay off store shelves until the dispute is resolved.
Deadline
For the length of the U.S. trade dispute, by the party’s account.
