## BC NDP on climate

The BC NDP had not announced a climate promise in this campaign by September 30, 2026.

In its release on LNG Canada Phase 2, the party said part of the Province’s revenue from the project will go to climate action programs, and that the project’s emissions are expected to be lower than those of other LNG plants. These are the party’s claims.

Its “Results for You” page says the party has put $1.1 billion into communities preparing for climate impacts. The page carries no date.
