COST OF LIVING AND AFFORDABILITY

## BC Green Party on cost of living

Under the heading "A Life You Can Afford", the BC Green Party lists commitments on child care, income assistance and wages.

On 2026-09-28 the party published a child care plan. It says it would lift the freeze on new $10-a-day child care spaces that it says came in with Budget 2026, and reach free child care for every family by 2031.

The party’s Our Plan page, read on 2026-09-30, says its full platform is still to come.
