[Dallas Brodie](/bc/provincial-2026/candidates/dallas-brodie), the [OneBC](/bc/provincial-2026/parties/onebc) leader, received 804 votes in [Vancouver-Quilchena](/bc/provincial-2026/races/mla/vancouver-quilchena) as of 11:37 p.m. Pacific on October 24, 2026, placing fifth of five candidates in the district, according to Elections BC.

Conservative candidate [Carson Binda](/bc/provincial-2026/candidates/carson-binda) led the district with 10,920 votes. BC NDP candidate Callista Ryan had 5,264 votes. BC Green candidate Douglas Courtemanche had 1,843 votes. CentreBC candidate Petra Kuret had 1,038 votes. Elections BC had 98.13% of ballot boxes reporting at that time.

Daily Hive reported that former Conservative leader John Rustad expelled Brodie from the Conservative Party in 2025 for mocking former residential school students during testimony about abuse. Daily Hive quoted Rustad as saying that the privilege of being a Conservative MLA came with a responsibility to do the right thing, and that mocking former residential school students giving testimony about child sex abuse by pedophiles was beyond the pale. Brodie then founded and led OneBC as a separate party.

Daily Hive reported that OneBC won no seats in the election. As of 11:28 p.m. Pacific, Elections BC's party results showed no districts led by OneBC province-wide. The Conservative Party of BC led in 64 of 93 districts with 48.05% of the vote; the BC NDP led in 27 districts with 37.36%.

Vancouver-Quilchena is a district in the west side of Vancouver. Earlier in the campaign, a race there had drawn attention: [voche.me reported on October 24](/bc/provincial-2026/news/vancouver-quilchena-three-way-race-brodie-binda-ryan-2026) that BC NDP leader David Eby had entered the campaign to try to take the riding from Brodie. The preliminary result places the Conservative candidate ahead of both the NDP and Brodie.

These results are preliminary. Elections BC says vote-by-mail, assisted telephone, and absentee ballots will be counted about two weeks after election day. The final count is set for November 6, 2026. Follow the count at Elections BC, which updates every few minutes. The [BC provincial election news page](/bc/provincial-2026/news) carries each new brief as the count moves.
