Elections BC has published its list of advance voting places for the October 24, 2026 provincial election. Advance voting opens on Thursday, October 16, and runs through Wednesday, October 21, with every location open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time.

Voters do not need to use a location in their own electoral district. Elections BC says voters can use any advance voting place in the province, and all locations are wheelchair accessible.

## How to find your voting place

Elections BC has a Where to Vote app at elections.bc.ca that shows advance voting places and the voting place assigned for final voting day. The agency is also mailing Where to Vote cards to registered voters. Each card lists the voter's assigned final-voting-day location and the advance voting options available in their district.

The full province-wide list of advance voting places is available as a PDF on the Elections BC website at elections.bc.ca.

## Final voting day

Final voting day is Saturday, October 24, 2026, with polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific time. On that day, voters have an assigned voting place but can vote at a different location if it is more convenient.

## Voter ID

Two pieces of ID are required to vote. The Where to Vote card that Elections BC mails to registered voters can serve as one of the two pieces. Elections BC publishes a full list of accepted ID types on its website. You do not need the card to vote.

Voters who are not yet registered can register at their voting place on the day they vote, including during advance voting. Elections BC publishes the requirements and deadlines for registration at elections.bc.ca.

Candidates running in the October 24 election are listed by district on the [voche.me BC provincial election pages](/bc/provincial-2026/candidates/).
