QUESTIONS

# Questions about voche.me.

<details>

<summary>Are the candidate profiles real?</summary>

Yes. Every profile is a person on Elections BC’s list of accepted nominations. Nominations stay open until October 3, 2026 at 1 p.m. Pacific time, so profiles are added as nominations are accepted.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I find my district?</summary>

Use the district lookup on the Elections BC website, then open that district on this site to see who is running there. Each district elects one MLA.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is voche.me an official Elections BC website?</summary>

No. voche.me is an independent guide, separate from Elections BC, political parties and candidates. We link to Elections BC wherever a page depends on official information, such as voting places, hours and how to vote by mail.

</details>

<details>

<summary>When can I vote?</summary>

General voting day is Saturday, October 24, 2026. Advance voting runs from Friday, October 16, 2026 to Wednesday, October 21, 2026. The last day to request a vote-by-mail package online or by phone is Sunday, October 18, 2026. Confirm hours and places with Elections BC before you go.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does an empty section on a profile mean?</summary>

It means voche.me has not yet added sourced material there. It does not mean the candidate has nothing to say, only that we have not confirmed it from a public source yet.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Who writes the research on the candidate pages?</summary>

For this election, an automated process reads public sources and writes the research, following published standards for sourcing and for how claims about real people are stated. A person does not review each page before it is published. Every page lists its sources, and the report form reaches the editors.
