## About Tim Taylor
Elections BC lists Tim Taylor as the Conservative Party candidate in Victoria-Swan Lake. The copy of the list read on 2026-10-03, stamped October 3, 2026 06:00:07 PM, shows three accepted nominations in the district: Carolyn Howe of the BC Green Party, Nina Krieger of the BC NDP and Tim Taylor.
The party's candidate page says he has worked for decades in commercial and residential real estate in Victoria as a licensed sales professional, property manager and strata manager, and that he helped create housing at every level, from affordable units to market-rate developments. It says he chaired the Victoria Real Estate Board's Commercial Division, was a founding director of the British Columbia Commercial Council, and sat on the board's political liaison and finance committees. These are the party's statements. voche.me has not checked them with the board or the council.
The same page says that for the past twenty years he has worked on housing as chairman of the Kiwanis Housing Society for Seniors, president of the Victoria West Housing Society for Families in Need, advisor to the Kiwanis House for Women with New Babies, advisor to the Youth Empowerment Society and a founding director of the CRD Housing Action Team. It adds that he has worked with several First Nations councils to secure resources for social, cultural and housing needs. It names no council, no year and no result for this work. voche.me has not checked any of these roles with the organizations.
Elections BC's statement of votes for the 2024 provincial election lists a Conservative Party candidate named Tim Taylor in Victoria-Swan Lake, with 5,146 votes (20.20 percent), third of four candidates. Nina Krieger of the BC NDP won with 14,273 votes (56.03 percent). The Times Colonist's 2024 profile calls that candidate real estate agent Tim Taylor, and BC Ballot lists one previous run for this candidate. The party's 2026 page does not mention the 2024 run.

No campaign website of his own was found on 2026-10-03. The party's candidate page links only to the party's own social media accounts, and no account of his own was found. The Times Colonist's 2024 profile lists conservativebc.ca/taylor as his website and says he did not answer its questionnaire. Every role in his background (real estate licence, Victoria Real Estate Board, British Columbia Commercial Council, Kiwanis Housing Society for Seniors, Victoria West Housing Society for Families in Need, Kiwanis House for Women with New Babies, Youth Empowerment Society, CRD Housing Action Team, work with First Nations councils) is stated by the party and has not been checked with the licence register, the societies' filings or the organizations. The 2024 candidacy is tied to this candidate by BC Ballot's electoral history for him, and by the same name, party and district on the Elections BC statement of votes. The party's 2026 page does not state it, and the 2024 campaign finance report was not opened. The party's platform page says the platform is coming soon and does not name him, and no party news release read on this date names him, so no promise is recorded. The Business in Vancouver riding brief of October 17, 2024 and the CHEK News list of Vancouver Island candidates of October 3, 2026 appeared in a news search and were not opened. No interview, all-candidates meeting or endorsement was found. CentreBC and OneBC had no candidate in the district on the BC Ballot page read on this date. The questionnaire has not been sent.
