01 / Introduction
## About Sean Flynn
Elections BC lists Sean Flynn as the CentreBC candidate in Langford-Highlands. The list stamped October 1, 2026 01:00:07 PM shows two accepted nominations in the district: Sean Flynn of CentreBC and Ravi Parmar of the BC NDP. Nominations close at 1 p.m. on October 3, 2026, so more candidates may be added.
Ravi Parmar won the district in 2024 with 11,444 votes (51.87 percent), according to Elections BC’s statement of votes. Mike Harris of the Conservative Party received 8,251 votes (37.40 percent) and Erin Cassels of the BC Green Party received 2,368 (10.73 percent). A search of that statement for the surname Flynn found no match.
The party published its page about him on 2026-09-28. The Western Standard reported on 2026-09-29 that CentreBC announced him on the Monday morning, and quoted the party’s post calling him a Navy veteran and business leader. The Times Colonist list of Vancouver Island candidates, updated on 2026-10-01, also names him in Langford-Highlands.
The party page says he served 13 years in the Royal Canadian Navy as a Naval Warfare Officer, then worked as a Senior Technical Trainer with Lockheed Martin Canada. A release by Avventura Resources of 2025-09-05 says he served in the Navy from 2008 to 2021 and retired as a lieutenant. voche.me has not checked his service with the Department of National Defence or his work with Lockheed Martin Canada.
The party page says he is chief executive officer and a director of Avventura Resources Ltd. and chief operating officer and a director of Planet Green Metals Inc. The Canadian Securities Exchange, where both companies are listed, names him in those roles on its listing pages read on 2026-10-01. Both companies describe their work as mineral exploration, with properties in Ontario. The party page and both companies also say he is Head of Project Management at Mid Atlantic Capital Associates Ltd. voche.me has not checked that role with the firm.
The party page says he is running to bring “disciplined, practical leadership” to the Legislature and to work for responsible public finances, a stronger economy, attainable housing and “essential services that keep pace with the West Shore’s rapid growth”. It says he believes government must remember that it serves the public. The page gives no number, cost or date for any of these. voche.me has not contacted the campaign.

No campaign website of his own, no social media account tied to this candidacy, and no interview or statement from him as a candidate were found on 2026-10-01. His positions come from one paragraph on the party’s page, so his views on health care, the cost of living, public safety, education, climate, Indigenous reconciliation and transportation are unknown, and the page does not say which essential services he means. The party has published no 2026 election platform: its policy page says its Policy Committee is still writing its first policy areas. His Navy service, his rank, his work at Lockheed Martin Canada and his role at Mid Atlantic Capital Associates come from the party and his companies and are unchecked. Island Social Trends reported in August and September 2024 that a Sean Flynn with a military background was the BC United candidate in Langford-Highlands until that party ended its campaign on 2024-08-28. A Business Examiner article on that 2024 candidacy returned HTTP 403 and has no Internet Archive copy, and no page voche.me read says that the 2024 candidate and this candidate are the same person, so that candidacy is left out of this record. The party announced him in a post on X, which voche.me knows only through the Western Standard, because X could not be read without signing in. A Facebook page and other social media accounts under the same name belong to people no page ties to this candidacy. All-candidates meetings in the district, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Nominations close October 3, 2026, so other candidates may still be added. The questionnaire has not been sent.

Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-01: the Elections BC candidate list and key dates page, the 2024 statement of votes, the CentreBC candidates, team, policy and news pages, the party’s page about him, a search of the party site’s posts and pages for his name, the Canadian Securities Exchange listing pages of Avventura Resources and Planet Green Metals, the two companies’ own pages about him, a Western Standard campaign report, the Times Colonist list of Vancouver Island candidates, the BC Ballot candidate list, and web searches for his name with the district, the party, 2026, MLA, housing and Langford.
His positions on this page come from one paragraph on the party’s page about him. No campaign website of his own, no social media account tied to this candidacy and no interview with him as a candidate were found. His company roles match the stock exchange listings. His Navy service and his other work history come from the party and his companies and have not been checked with the bodies that would know.
