No campaign website was found on 2026-10-02: the party's candidate page links only to the party's own social media accounts, and mattliang.ca, mattliangmla.ca, voteliang.ca, mattliang4mla.ca and liangformla.ca did not answer direct requests. matthewliang.ca returned HTTP 404. voche.me found no social media account tied to this candidacy on 2026-10-02. Searches of Google News, the Tri-Cities Dispatch and the Western Standard for Matt Liang and Matthew Liang found no story about this candidate on 2026-10-02. The Tri-City News search page returned no readable results to a direct request. The WebSearch tool had no searches left in this session, and DuckDuckGo showed a check for automated requests, so Google News and the news sites' own search pages were used instead. The Internet Archive was offline, so earlier copies of the party page could not be checked. The party's candidate page labels him "Interim Conservative Party Leader". The party's team page lists him only as the Coquitlam-Maillardville candidate, so voche.me does not repeat that label. His work as a deputy sheriff, a child care counsellor and a health and safety facilitator, and his volunteer work, are stated by the party; voche.me has not checked them with the employers, the BC General Employees' Union or the organizations named. voche.me found no name in Chinese characters on the party's page. The party's platform page says the platform is coming soon and does not name him, and the party's news page does not name him. All-candidates meetings in Coquitlam-Maillardville, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Nominations close October 3, 2026, so other candidates may still be added.
