## About Larry Neufeld

Larry Neufeld is the Conservative Party of BC candidate in Peace River South on Elections BC's list for the general election of October 24, 2026. He won the district in 2024 with 7,182 votes, 69.84% of the valid vote, against the sitting member Mike Bernier, according to the Elections BC statement of votes.

Conservative caucus releases name him Critic for Oil, Gas and LNG in December 2025, and Critic for Energy, or Shadow Minister for Energy, from June 30, 2026.

Tumbler Ridge is in his district. After the shootings there on February 10, 2026, he gave the reply to the throne speech on February 17 and asked the Premier for a public inquiry on February 26 and March 11. In the legislature he also asked about energy prices, BC Hydro contracts, the Mental Health Act and the Taylor Bridge.

He told the legislature that he is a professional engineer and worked as an environmental engineer. The party page says he started his own companies in 2006 and served as a Reserve Infantry Platoon Commander. Those are his and the party's own statements.

No campaign website of his own was found; the party candidate page lists no events or platform of his own. The party candidate page labels him "Interim Conservative Party Leader"; party and caucus releases name Lorne Doerkson as leader, so voche.me does not use that label. His Facebook and X pages showed no readable posts to a direct read, so nothing from them is used. A caucus release of October 2, 2025 on an Alberta pipeline proposal and a party statement were not used because the party copies answered HTTP 404. The Energy and Climate Solutions estimates (April 22, 23 and 27, 2026; only the April 22 sitting was read, in part), the Bill 16 committee stage and the Bill 9 committee stage were read only in part. Votes are taken from the vote index; the division lists in the transcripts were not checked one by one. His 2025 speeches and votes were not read. His professional engineering licence, his business history and his military service are statements by him and the party and were not checked against the engineering regulator or other records. No 2026 all-candidates meeting for Peace River South was found. No accountability record was found. Campaign finances and endorsements were not reviewed. The questionnaire has not been sent.
