01 / Introduction

## About Kory Clark

Elections BC lists Kory Clark as the BC NDP candidate in Kamloops-North Thompson. CFJC Today Kamloops reported on October 1, 2026 that the BC New Democrats had named him, and described the nomination as his first run for political office.

In 2024 the district's ballot listed Tristan Cavers (BC Green Party), Maddi Genn (BC NDP) and Ward Stamer (Conservative Party). Elections BC's statement of votes gives Stamer 17,930 votes (59.74 percent) and Genn 9,874 votes (32.90 percent), a gap of 8,056 votes. CFJC reports that the Conservatives won the seat by more than 25 percent.

Clark told CFJC News that he wants to represent young people: "A lot of people my age are a little disengaged, they don't see themselves up in Victoria, in Ottawa." On local priorities he named housing and the cost of living. These are his words as the station printed them.

Elections BC lists two other candidates in the district: Deborah Friesen (OneBC) and Ward Stamer (Conservative), the sitting MLA. CFJC's list of Kamloops-area candidates, published on October 3, 2026, shows the same three names.

voche.me found no campaign website, party candidate page, social media account or published biography for Clark. His age, work history and community roles are therefore absent from this record. voche.me has not contacted the campaign.

No campaign website of his own was found. The address pattern the BC NDP uses for candidate pages, korycclark.bcndp.ca and similar spellings, answered HTTP 302 and sent every request back to itself, so no page could be read. The party's team page loads its profiles from a feed that held 59 profiles on 2026-10-03, and none named him. A Castanet Kamloops report with the headline "BC NDP names Mike Wisla, Kory Clark as candidates in Kamloops ridings" answered HTTP 403 and was not read, so nothing from it is used. No social media account tied to this candidacy was found, so none is used. His age, work history, community roles and any earlier public role are not stated in any source read. His platform beyond the two priorities he named, all-candidates meetings in the district, endorsements and campaign finances were not found on this date. No published photo that voche.me can credit was found, so the page has no portrait.
