The party release that West K News quotes was not on the BC NDP releases page on 2026-10-01, so voche.me read his words only as the news report carries them. The BC NDP online candidate list held 52 names on 2026-10-01 and did not include West Kelowna-Peachland. The address georgemorgan.bcndp.ca, the pattern the party uses for its candidates' pages, sends the reader back to the same address in a loop and shows no page. The West Kelowna-Peachland BC NDP page does not name him. His degree and his community roles come from the party, through the news report. voche.me has not confirmed them with UBC Okanagan, Crime Stoppers, the Rotary group, the pool or the hospital. voche.me found no campaign website, social media account, interview or all-candidates meeting for him on 2026-10-01. The name George Morgan is common, so only pages that tie the name to this candidacy are used. The portrait is a BC NDP photo as published in the West K News report; the original is 720 pixels tall, so the 640 by 800 copy is enlarged. Campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. Nominations close October 3, 2026, so other candidates may still be added. The questionnaire has not been sent. Research status ## What voche.me has checked Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-01: the Elections BC candidate list and key dates page, the 2024 statement of votes, the BC NDP candidate list, releases page, platform page and West Kelowna-Peachland page, the West K News report of October 1, 2026 and the same report in the Kelowna Capital News, and web searches for his name with the district, its towns, 2026, NDP and social media. The only statement from him that voche.me found is a quote from the party release, carried in the news report. The party platform entries below are the BC NDP's own text, and none of it names him. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date. 03 / Background ## Experience & community ### Background not supplied Work, public service and community involvement will appear here when supplied.
