01 / Introduction
## About Cindy Scott
Elections BC lists Cindy Scott as a candidate for the Conservative Party in Langford-Highlands. The copy of the list read on 2026-10-03, stamped October 3, 2026 08:00:07 PM, shows five accepted nominations in the district: Sean Flynn of CentreBC, Christian McCay of the Christian Heritage Party of BC, Christopher Moon of the BC Green Party, Ravi Parmar of the BC NDP and Cindy Scott. Nominations closed at 1 p.m. on October 3, 2026.
The party's candidate page calls her "a community builder, Langford business owner and woman in the trades". It says she has owned and operated KC Custom Designs Ltd., a Langford-based home building and renovation company, for more than two decades. The company's own website lists "Cindy Scott" as owner and says the company has built homes for over 20 years. The Goldstream News Gazette described her in 2017 as owner of KC Custom Designs. No registry record for the company was checked.
The party says she created the Holiday Home Tour at Bear Mountain, which it says ran for five years, with all proceeds going to community services including the Goldstream Food Bank. The Gazette reported on 2017-11-27 that the third annual tour drew close to 500 people and raised more than $30,000, according to organizer Cindy Scott. On 2019-10-30 it reported that the fourth tour would raise money for Our Place, the Mustard Seed and the Goldstream Food Bank.
The party's page names four priorities: greater government accountability, improved access to healthcare, making life more affordable, and strengthening public safety. It names no measure, number, cost or date for any of them.
BC Ballot, an independent election information site, lists no earlier run, term or finance report for her in provincial, federal or local election records. It reports that Ravi Parmar of the BC NDP won the district in 2024 with 51.9 percent of the vote, ahead of the Conservative Party's Mike Harris by 3,193 votes.

No campaign website of her own was found on 2026-10-03. The party's candidate page links only to the party's own social media accounts, and no account of hers was found, so nothing from social media is used. The name search was limited: the WebSearch tool had reached its usage limit, and Brave returned HTTP 429, DuckDuckGo returned a challenge page, Google returned an error page and Bing returned unrelated results. The Goldstream News Gazette and Victoria News site searches returned only the 2016 to 2019 Holiday Home Tour reports for her name. No 2026 news story, interview or all-candidates meeting that names her was found. Her ownership of KC Custom Designs Ltd. rests on the party page, the company's own site and a 2017 Gazette quote; no business registry was checked. The party says the Holiday Home Tour ran for five years; the Gazette reports the third tour in 2017 and the fourth in 2019, and voche.me found no source for any tour after 2019. The party page says the company is Langford-based and the company's site gives a Victoria address; voche.me did not resolve this. The party's platform page lists plan titles, says the platform is coming soon and does not name her. No release on the party's news page on 2026-10-03 names her, and the party's team page lists her only as the candidate for Langford-Highlands. Campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date. The questionnaire has not been sent.
Research status
## What voche.me has checked
Evidence reviewed on 2026-10-03: the Elections BC candidate list and key dates page, the party's candidate, team, platform and news pages, the BC Ballot candidate page and candidate list, the About page of KC Custom Designs, and two Goldstream News Gazette reports on the Bear Mountain Holiday Home Tour. The party's candidate page is the only page found that describes her campaign.
No campaign website of her own, no public social media account of her own and no news story about her 2026 candidacy were found. The name search was limited because the search tool was unavailable and public search pages returned unrelated results or a challenge page, so the absence of 2026 news coverage is not confirmed. Her business ownership and her role in the charity tour are supported by the company's website and the Gazette, which are older and cover her work outside politics. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date.
