## About Caroline Elliott

Elections BC lists Caroline Elliott as the Conservative Party of BC candidate in West Vancouver-Capilano. The party named her on September 25, 2026. On the same day it moved the district's sitting MLA, Lynne Block, to North Vancouver-Seymour, according to North Shore News.

She ran for leader of the Conservative Party of BC in 2026. The party's published results show she finished second to Kerry-Lynne Findlay in the fourth and last round, with 4,514.49 points (49.0 percent) to 4,696.51 (51.0 percent).

Before that she was a vice-president of BC United, the party earlier called the BC Liberals, according to Sitka Media and AM 1150. North Shore News reports that she was nominated as the BC United candidate in West Vancouver-Capilano for 2024 before that party stopped running candidates. Her name is not on the 2024 ballot results for the district, where Lynne Block won with 12,049 votes (46.67 percent).

The Prince George Citizen reports that she advised the provincial ministers of transportation and environment in the Gordon Campbell government and worked at BC Hydro on the early stages of the Site C dam. The party says she holds a doctorate in political science from Simon Fraser University. The Vancouver Sun reports that she is a senior fellow with the Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy.

No campaign website for her West Vancouver-Capilano run was found. Her leadership campaign site, winforbc.ca, did not answer on 2026-09-30, so her leadership platform was read only through quotes in reporting. Her X account (@NVanCaroline) and Facebook page could not be read without signing in, so no post from them is used. The party's candidate page labels her "Interim Conservative Party Leader". The party's own team page names Lorne Doerkson as leader, and The Canadian Press calls him interim leader, so voche.me does not repeat that label. The party page says she is a board director of a group on property rights and public land use. The Public Land Use Society's board list, read on 2026-09-30, does not name her, so that role is left out. Her doctorate from Simon Fraser University and her work at BC Hydro and as a ministerial adviser are stated by the party and by reporting; voche.me has not checked them with SFU, BC Hydro or government records. Her 2026 statements as an MLA candidate, all-candidates meetings in the district, campaign finances and endorsements were not found on this date.

Research status

## What voche.me has checked

Evidence reviewed on 2026-09-30: the Elections BC candidate list, the party's candidate, team and platform pages, the party's leadership results, the 2024 statement of votes, and reporting from North Shore News, The Canadian Press, Sitka Media, the Western Standard, Business in Vancouver, the Prince George Citizen, the Vancouver Sun, Juno News, the National Post, Black Press Media and AM 1150.

Most commitments on this page come from her 2026 run for party leader. No campaign website or statement from her West Vancouver-Capilano campaign was found, and her social media accounts could not be read. An empty section records what voche.me did not find on this date.
