WHAT THIS BODY DOES

## What you are electing

Trustees are elected across the whole City, and every voter in Delta chooses from the same list. The City of Delta's candidates page says seven trustees are to be elected, and its Declaration of Candidates of September 11, 2026 lists the offices of school trustee with seven to be elected.

The City of Delta's candidates page says the Delta School District is administered by the Delta Board of Education: seven trustees govern the District by establishing education and administrative policies and regulations, set local policy for the operation of schools, and prepare and approve the District's operating budget and capital plan, in accordance with the School Act.
